I have a feeling this is less about EA's move to digital and more because the game isn't that good, especially compared to the 2K series.

The only difference is when 2K was doing the $20 games they were releasing superior products. I find it hard to believe Live 13 will be better than even 2K12 let alone 2K13.

There is no hold placed on the funds before that point however. If I pledged $10,000 Kickstarter doesn't put a hold on those funds in my bank account, it waits until the goal is "met" and then tries to draw the money. If it isn't there they don't get anything from me.

Except from 2000 to 2012 6 different teams have won a title and 12 different teams have played in the Finals. From 1985-2000 6 different teams won titles and 11 different teams played in the Finals.

Yup that is it. I am just scared of your big complex PC games.

I don't have a problem with the dribbling controls in 2K and think the Shot Stick is a better use of the right stick. Being able to actually decide which lay-up you take instead of pressing a button and hoping the game picks correctly is a must have when you are trying to shield the ball from a shotblocker.

We have a local store and honestly I have had a bit of a hit and miss experience with them. On the one side I can find old school stuff there that GameStop would never carry. I have bought SNES and GBC games from them on more than one occasion. On the other hand their prices on used games are generally $3-5 higher

My money is on a new 360 model with Kinect built in to it somehow. They have some pretty big name titles slated for release late into 2013. I think they are doing one last SKU to try and take advantage of one last Holiday season before they launch their new system in 2014.

I really doubt it. They still have 360 games slated for release even late into 2013 and have barely had time to really push Kinect. I think it is going to be another iteration of the 360, probably with Kinect support built into the system, trying to take advantage of 1 last Holiday season and then the next Xbox will

That is what I was thinking.

While I think an argument can be made that video games should have some consideration if things like sailing, equestrian sports and table tennis are official events there is a real problem with putting them in the Olympics. Specifically the ever changing competitive landscape. It doesn't cause a problem with

" At its most basic level it boils down to who can press a button faster. And everyone presses a button in the same way, the only difference is speed"

The comment told me it didn't save and submit, apparently it did. I didn't say the Paradigm system was easy I said it eliminated most of the resource management, which is where the challenge actually comes from. Taking out MP was, in my opinion, one of the worst design decisions they made in FF13.

And then you get back on Cocoon and its hallway after hallway again. You are correct that it isn't a 40 hour corridor run. Its a 20 hour corridor run, followed by a boring bit of open world gameplay where there is nothing to interact with or do short of back tracking across the world and killing bigger versions of the
