So did my group. I think a lot of the reason for the long layoff might have been because of the Hudson Soft situation. Konami become the majority shareholder in 2005 so I am sure they had to finish their current deal (making MP8 for Nintendo) but then move on to Konami's stuff. Just speculation on my part but seems to

I really hope that that is an optional mode and not the only way to play. I would still like to play the old school every man for himself game.

Sounds kind of like the way the jump from Assassin's Creed to Assassin's Creed 2 happened.

I keep seeing Rage drop in price and am tempted to pick it up, but nothing I ever saw/read about the game drew me too it.

Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword and Skyrim. For Zelda I was worried about the game diving deeper into motion controls, Twilight Princess was much better as a GCN game than a Wii game. I was extremely pleased (so far, I haven't finished yet) with the controls and the game as a whole.

Liquor helps.

I absolutely think we are too forgiving, and it goes beyond giving them a pass for glitchy/buggy games. Look at BioWare and Mass Effect. The first Mass Effect had a terrible inventory system, reused the same 3-4 dungeons for each side mission and had terribly controlling vehicle sections. Had any other developer

I don't have a PS3 so all I know is everyone says The Show is the best but I haven't actually played it. I quit playing baseball games on 360 after 2K9, although I have heard the games have gotten better.

This was the one license that EA really deserved. I wish we could just have a trade, let 2K take the NFL license and give EA the MLB license. While we are at it 2K can take the NBA and EA can have the NHL as well.

I would never want to get rid of realistic games. Tiger Woods 12 and NBA 2K12 are some of the best controlling and best playing games I have played from any genre. You call them unintuitive and obtuse but I don't really see that. In NBA 2K12 if I want to go up for a layup with my left hand I push left on the shot

They want to create a time sink plain and simple.

I loved it. The first time I met the doctors and found out about my medical miracle I was hooked.

I guess someone played on very easy and without Hardcore mode.

In what is a rare occurrence I agree with every point you made, and I have just barely begun Old World Blues (just finished Honest Hearts which I loved) and got to say it has been a lot of fun so far.

I have played Honest Hearts and have put in about an hour or so into Old World Blues and got to say they are real great, especially if you like the Fallout universe and its storylines.

I never knew that Benny was voiced Matthew Perry and now I feel a little dirty for sleeping with him and then murdering him in his sleep.

They did, you got to play it first and got your limited edition goodies.

New Vegas feels much more like a Fallout game than an Elder Scrolls game. I would recommend it.

The thing is I don't think you can have a bad Superman. He fights for truth, justice and the American Way. While I don't necessarily think the city health bar is the best method it is the best so far. Failure has to be an option, if not the game wouldn't really be able to present a challenge.

I think Superman Returns had the best interpretation of Superman's "death." Metropolis had a health bar and if it was depleted Superman failed to save the city, but he was not able to be killed.
