Don't try and pretend you are taking up the cause of protecting victims of home invasion and theft (which by the way is what happened to my first 360 and a 2 month old HD TV while I was on vacation in Vegas last year).

Its the same concept: the law says you own property and no one has any right to use/take/abuse your property without your permission. The legal agreement between you and EA says they own the game and you cannot use/exploit/abuse it without their permission.

Its apt. EA owns the game (the EULA and TOS you sign say as much) and so they have the same rights as any property owners. If you leave your house unlocked and someone robs you the police don't say "should have locked your door" and walk away. Just because the exploit exists doesn't mean there aren't consequences for

Buried somewhere in the EULA and TOS that you agree to when you sign the game is surely a line that says you won't take advantage of exploits such as this. That alone would give them the right to ban you.

The only redeeming quality of DA:O was the dialog, and I thought DA2 did that well. Of course if you liked the dull as dirt combat and art style/environments from DA:O then I guess I'm glad I have a broader spectrum of taste than what is "indie" (if you could call DA:O indie which is debatable).

I would actually go for Bastion. No game world captivated me more than Caelondia and the storytelling was fantastic. In a lot of ways it reminded me a bit of the original Portal: It was a game that did something different, wasn't big enough to be a full retail title and knew exactly when it had worn out its welcome.

Denver is in no way midwestern America. As a real resident of the Midwest I just thought you should know.

Portal 2 was a pretty popular AAA title and a sequel to boot.

I was speaking of first party titles. Those are hard to find under $35, especially for core games like DKCR and Mario Galaxy 2. I mentioned GameStop because most people do their game shopping there or at a big box retailer like Wal-Mart or Target.

It hasn't, and my laptop used to run it fine. But you have to maintain your PC much more than you do a console. My PC is simply old and has failing parts. I am still on my second Xbox (had a red ring on the first) from 2008 and my Wii from 2007. I should have clarified more.

Ah, well then that changes everything. But maybe you are hot in which case don't be offended by my sudden change of heart.

The thing with PC gaming is a good rig that can play the most current games won't last the same length as a console cycle. I bought a desktop replacement laptop almost 6 years ago when I went to college. It could run those current games (Oblivion had just come out at the time) I also bought a 360 when I got to

You sir are lucky. Go into a US GameStop an you are lucky to find a first party Nintendo title for under $35.

Hey now, Nintendo releases one or two first party games a year.

Female Gamer= Hot (its the interwebs so please detect the humor, although maybe you are hot in which case please don't be offended by the joke)

That is my least favorite thing about my Wii. I roll into GameStop and look at games like Epic Yarn and Metroid Prime and they are still $35-$50 used.

My Wii is a great system to have when I am having a night of drinking or playing with my fiancee, but for myself I rarely touch it. There is maybe one game a year that makes me play my Wii, although from last fall to this winter I had Donkey Kong Country, Mario Galaxy 2 and Skyward Sword.

Hell GoG has deals on fantastic games that will run on any modern PC. Fallout 2 and Baldur's Gate 2 for $5 each and no DRM: yes please take my money.

Spongebob is the exception to modern Nickelodeon (although I liked Fairly Odd Parents as well). I can't sit down and watch a show like iCarly, but shows like Rocko, Rugrats, Kablam! and other early/mid nineties shows on Nick had plenty of jokes and references that would go over the head of the kids and were intended

I went for the Bladder of Steel on an all-nighter when I was in college and got the endless setlist but not the Bladder. I still have no idea when I paused the game because I know I didn't pee.
