A lot of people take cabs when they're intoxicated in some fashion, or in some kind of compromised state. It's difficult (and awkward) to take down a cab driver's information, plus you have to be present enough in the moment realize you should do so. Yeah, if we're going that route, we can just as easily laugh at the misery of Americans for propping up governments that meddle in the Middle East and then end up becoming the target of terrorist attacks.
You know, I don't really care what they've done. I think revelling in the misery of starving people is deeply wrong regardless.
