Malcolm In Extremis.

“We went after it because that’s a show that, fundamentally, is about the American dream,” Ben Sherwood, president of Disney and ABC’s television group, told the Times. “It’s about a girl with a cowboy hat and a boy with a banjo and people from small towns where music has saved their lives in different ways.”

I dunno, on the scale of “really dumb shit artists have said/done that didn’t harm their record scales” this doesn’t even rank that high.

Does that apply to Ghostface Killah?

I think you missed the sarcasm there.

I don’t wish death upon these people.

I mean, you could go post the link to this on 4chan /b/ yourself. I’d do it, but I’m afraid of the horrors I might encounter in the process.

But now you have heard of him, because you read this article. No one has heard of anyone until the first time they hear of them.

I find the structure of this sentence almost physically painful.

Well, that was hilariously contrived. Have you used that before? I suggest not using it again.

Agreed - if someone wants to drape themselves in a red flag, I say go for it.

I’m the opposite - I’m only interested if they’re pointing a high-powered rifle directly at the camera.

Trump paid them to say that, but it was held a convention center down the street from where Trump Plaza actually is located.

So I may be merely part of your Jacob’s Ladder scenario? Huh.

That’s bleak take, but for all I know, correct.

I don’t let it bother me.

I don’t think many young kids would have any trouble learning T9 predictive texting if they had to though. After all, back in the day teenagers used to be blazing-fast at it. It’s actually super-intuitive and arguably faster than using a full keyboard on a touch screen.

Agreed. What I want to know is, what’s the markup on those things? What could they possibly cost to produce? If the profit margin is within a reasonable sort of range, I’d say fair enough, but that seems doubtful. It’s hard to respect someone’s decision to allow themselves to be grossly overcharged.

“Yo, I’m on the road / 3210 and a bag full of cro” - Scrufizzer, 2017.

Oh for sure, it’s not impossible that the guy did look somewhat fucked up - as you pointed out, being rammed tends to do that to a person.
