I’m concerned that there will be enough Republicans who put party above all else who will vote, and enough Democrats who can’t stand Clinton who will not vote. That said, yes, Clinton is a heavy favorite for the general election. Unfortunately, the stakes are so high that a Trump candidacy itself is terrible to fathom.

I’m seeing a bunch of people burning their GOP voter registration cards. I’m pleasantly surprised a few from the Tea Party wing are owning up and saying “yeah, we done screwed up by allying with the bigots.”

Fascist is a big one. Socialist and communist as well. Pretty much any political term has been abused by talking heads in media. The trend obviously transcends political alignment, economic philosophy, etc., but seems most egregious in political discourse.

I also had a qualm about the power issue. In some cases it’s very subjective and hard to assess. That’s not how economics works as pro-market does not mean pro-Uber. There are economists who are pro-regulation for this very reason.

I think it might be for some people who otherwise don’t earn a living wage from their main occupation, which in itself is a problem.

Then perhaps say that instead of just claiming that tipping is out of control, which leaves the worker in the lurch since Uber isn’t going to raise wages unless they are forced to by law.
