I suspect the writers forgot about it.  I sure won't its still the lowest rated movie on Metacritic.  The fact it got released at the same time FIFA executives were getting nabbed by cops will always make me smile.  Sepp Blatter is uncorruptable so says the film version as the real Sepp steps down due to corruption...

I wish we would stop using the Razzies as the metric for how bad a movie is.

As is typical with these slideshows, this is less “the 15 worst biopics of all time” and more “15 movies the author remembers and is pretty sure were biopics.”

Can there be a category for good films that are still terrible biopics of their subjects? A Beautiful Mind comes to mind. Crowe was excellent, the movie was touching and interesting, but you get a very distorted view of John Nash, his wife, his work, and his illness.

They’re currently only recapping like, 4 shows. It’s just a shame, given how strong the writing used to be, and the community that existed around it. Hardly anything similar exists now.

So AV Club pretty much only covers reality shows now. Go fuck yourselves. (Not the writers, the people in charge. The writers probably hate this more than we do)

I respect the refusal to link to the source of this outrage because they don’t deserve the attention. And to be honest, I saw the Outlaws reveal and immediately thought, “There’s definitely going to be a cookie cutter Kotaku article about gamers hating this female protagonist.”

Actually, I was very curious about this because I was unaware of this take actually existed; I was under the assumption that Kay was cool with mostly everyone, including those people that aren’t far gone but shutter at signs of “wokeness”, both overt and nuanced; I felt this was largely because the role is gender…

I’ve only seen praise of this game and this is the first I’ve heard about the losers being losers. Almost feels like this post was written to get clicks (which it was) and not be anything of actual substance.

This was my thought reading this well written piece too. I agree that we need more female protagonists in Star Wars games and in general. Having protagonists in fiction and games with different backgrounds and points of view is not just good for a healthy society, but it makes for much more interesting gaming.
