I’m in the same boat. I thought there was no way he would be convicted. I thought at best hung jury and at (likely) worst, an acquittal. I’m shocked. I didn’t hear much about the retrial. It must have gone significantly better for the prosecution.

Red Forman: “Dumbass.”
I’m gonna go the other way with this one, I was fully expecting another mistrial followed by the DA declining to try a third time. Kudos for not giving up the first time.
Yeah I refuse to believe Marvel got Don Cheadle for less than Terrance Howard and that they just happened to lowball Howard at the same time he attacked his girlfriend with a baseball bat while working for a director who is well known for putting conduct clauses in his contracts.
The problem is that his contract said he was going to be in “one times ones” number of movies.
Hear me out…maybe a micro transaction of a buff, sexy Gollum skin would save this game?
The last six episodes of the season also had this thing of every episode raising the bet so you’re thinking “where could they even GO from here?” and yet managed to keep paying off the bets they make.
I actually pitched something like this a few times but have had the pieces denied by outlets because I called The Arrowverse more ambitious than any relevant cinematic universe I. E. The Marvel Universe. It is. Regardless of how successful or unsuccessful these projects have been for studios, the CW were the only ones…
I would have had so much less of a problem with the HIMYM finale if they didn’t spend pretty much half the show building up the one relationship I ended up being invested in: Barney and Robin. The idea that the mother was the true soulmate, died and he was looking to the kids for the permission to go after his other…
Probably fair on both observations. I mostly watched HIMYM here and there on airplanes and such so the underlying narrative may not have meant as much to me as those who consistently tuned in, but from what I saw I’d guess 80%+ of the series didn’t really depend on the mythical mom - except for the kid talks.
iZombie had a pretty shitty finale too, among other things undoing much of the show’s plot and giving it a weird psuedo-happy ending
I don’t think it was a written interview with British Vogue.
I’m sorry dude, you’re being a real shit.
What a bunch of sad sacks.
Yeah that’s exactly it. People would still be disappointed but I don’t think the reaction would be as severe if OW1 was still up and running as it’s own thing.
They canceled the PVE component of the game that was originally announced, and were still promising up till recently. That included co-op story campaign with hero progression. It was a whole package deal, and thats what I’m referring to.
Just to be clear, they didn’t “cancel PvE.” There were two components to the PvE experience planned for OW2. The first was Story Missions, essentially a co-op story campaign. The second was Hero Missions, which were going to be a replayable, semi-procedural PvE missions that you could queue for which would tie into a…
They didn’t.
At least with this quitting in particular, I don’t see anything in the wording indicating that they’re fighting for better pay or anything like this. They’re just stating that the management is shit and that they can’t pay the rent.
I’m confused, is there anyone who thinks the point of these protests is to make Gamestop better?
