Kotaku is at war with Seth Rogan. Kotaku has always been at war with Seth Rogan.

It’s going to be hilarious (already is) to watch Kotaku as a whole completely ignore that they ever had such a site-wide hissyfit about Pratt.
What a weird thing to say about considering the biggest complaint this site has had from day 1 is that Chris Pratt is voicing the lead instead of the guy they recognize from their childhood.
So right up your alley then!
I’ve said it before, Baldwin should not be charged for this. The DA clearly thinks this case is their big ticket to notoriety, but everyone else can see what a farce it is. There are two people who should be charged, the AD and the armorer.
Well it’s in the middle. There should never be live rounds on set, only blanks for pyro, or dummy rounds so the gun looks loaded. So in this context, a hot gun would have blanks, while a cold gun would either be empty, or chambered with dummy rounds.
That’s fantastic! I had my ah-ha moment about halfway through when I realized Michael was a textbook narcissist. The exchange between him and Lindsay should have been the first giveaway:
Hugh Grant has never really been an upstanding guy over his history - it’s just that the times have changed and he hasn’t.
Your worst take yet! I have to admire being able to top yourself like that.
There are a lot of reasons.
I think the issue is, the Gawker blogosphere at one time WAS probably more even-keel and and usually didn’t logically or devolve into histrionics and there are some posters that remember that. When the Gawker readership did notice that Kotaku, io9, et. al had gone the direction of Jez they went to other blogs to find…

I’m not familiar with the author but “journalist gets annoyed they didn’t get anything out of a subject and slams them in the profile as a result” is a tale as old as time. You could probably throw a proverbial rock in the Rolling Stone offices and be guaranteed to hit a similar story.
The whole article could have been more interesting if Kehe explored the idea of story over structure, the influence of Mormonism on Sanderson’s fantasy, religion as creation, the author’s own biases of what he was expecting, etc. Instead of whatever that was.
I’ve been reading your comments. If you aren’t the author of the article, you think a lot like him and want people to understand his point of view.
man that article is weirdly brutal. like it really seems like the author had some other stuff going on and vented into their writing.
ehhh as long as there are seeders. a lot of stuff IS getting tough to even torrent.
Two things:
AV Club doesn’t really do journalism nor pays enough to allow research. Maybe if somebody else did an article they could link to it and add some lame jokes.
It’s more than likely prepositioning for the upcoming WGA strike.
