Yes.

I’m going to try to dive back into Deltarune this weekend. I started it back in December, but then I abandoned it to make room for J.J. Macfield and Gris. But now I’m ready to go back to Toby Fox’s weird-ass world.

Rich people never face any actual consequences for their bullshit. Fuck everything.

I’m still confused at what APC was going for on Eat the Elephant. It’s like 60% piano rock. I don’t get it.

I know that the Golden Globes aren’t exactly a “Hollywood” awards show in the sense that they’re voted on by people who write for non-U.S. publications, but it’s heartening to see an animated film category where: A) the nominated films are all deserving*; and B) the most deserving among them won.

I Feel Bad was a consistent disappointment, and I dropped it about halfway through its run. Sarayu Blue deserved better. (And I’m saying this as a dude of South Asian descent who’s starved for representation on TV. The fact that even I gave up on this show should tell you something.)

The RCMP accomplishes nothing other than harassing female employees and indigenous teens.

No, I watch too much *anime*. There’s a difference.

Charitable explanations:
- There wasn’t any concrete, actionable evidence on the tapes.
- The FBI is investigating but is keeping the investigation secret.

Good on Dushku for speaking out. The fact that Weatherly had zero qualms about violating the terms of the non-disclosure agreement just goes to show how little he thinks rules and norms actually apply to him. I hope he never works in Hollywood again.

I actually like Beach House, but I listened to the record once and never revisited it. I find that records released early in the year tend to artificially fall down the ranks lower than they should. In any case, while it might rise into 60s or even the 50s, I doubt it’s going to hit my top 20.

For real. “Settlers” and “Never Have I Ever Walked Away When the Time Was Right” are two of my favourite songs of all time.

And of course, I can’t edit that comment to fix the capitalization on “God.” Hahahahahahaha fuck you Kinja.

Also, while I’m on the subject of Kinja, let me take this opportunity to say:

FUCKING KINJA WON’T LET ME EDIT MY FUCKING COMMENT

My list is subject to change, since I’m still getting caught up on some albums I missed:

Just some further background: “Boyish” was originally a track recorded by Michelle Zauner’s band, Little Big League, and it’s more of a rock ‘n roll stomper. The version on her solo record is a cover that Zauner says is closer to her original intent in writing the song.

I listened to 150 albums this year so far, and I have it ranked at 92. I liked it but didn’t love it; maybe I should give it another listen to see if it clicks this time.

Pianos Become The Teeth, Mastersystem, The Sidekicks, and Wild Nothing are all worth mentioning.
