I’ll be playing The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit tonight. I kind of just want to tick another game off the list before the fall deluge. I’ll also dive into Forgotton Anne over the weekend. A stray comment about the mid-budget games of the PS2 era has inspired me to clear out my backlog so I can get to Vampyr

None. I’m really fucking lazy.

We’ll all go back to pretending this never happened, and Chloe Dykstra will never work in show business again. Such is the circle of life. :S

Posting video footage of yourself is generally frowned upon. :P

I don’t want to poke too many holes in your theory, but there are female goombas: there’s Goombella from the Paper Mario series, who is essentially a goomba with a ponytail, and there’s also Goombette from Super Mario Odyssey, who answers the question “What if Carmen Sandiego were a goomba?”

This weekend I’m diving into Quarantine Circular. I played Subsurface Circular last weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it, so I’m eager to try Mike Bithell’s follow-up. I’ll also be returning to Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth - Hacker’s Memory to hopefully make some progress, and I’m going to try to get back into Bayonetta,

Speaking of grappling hooks, y’all should give A Story About My Uncle a shot. It’s basically Grappling Hook: The Game. A first-person parkour experience with grappling can be a little disorienting, but it’s thrilling to fling yourself through the air, and because it’s in first person, you feel a little flutter in your

I enjoyed this segment. I have nothing more profound to add.

Almost done with Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice, our current Revue Club game. I’m ready for it to be over. Expect some lengthier thoughts on it next week. For now, let me just say that I don’t think my time was well spent.

Wow, that’s disgusting. Kevin Smith loves his wife??? How gross.

I’d be watching if I’d actually played Andromeda. I didn’t have time for it last year, and I just haven’t gotten around to it yet. The negative buzz around it kind of killed my enthusiasm for playing it, though.

You know how there are good bad games? Games that are objectively riddled with issues but are still fun to play? I often tell people that Alpha Protocol is the best bad game I’ve played. It’s full of jank, and a lot of it is pure nonsense, but it’s a blast to play.

It baffles me that anyone would release a game on PC without at least perfunctory keyboard support.

I feel like there’s a period between early 2013 and late 2014 when this piece would have been relevant. But now, after big online controversies like GamerGate that other platforms (e.g. Twitter, Reddit, 4chan) handled much more poorly, singling out Tumblr seems misguided. Heck, when a big controversy breaks out

I’m going to try to finish off Hellblade this weekend. I haven’t enjoyed the experience, and I just want it to be over with. Hopefully that gives me a chance to sink my teeth into Mike Bithell’s Circular games, which I’ve been wanting to play for a while.

Putting it on my Spotify list immediately, thanks for the heads-up!

+1 for Now, Now and Teenage Wrist.

Holy shit, there was new Del this year? WHY DID NO ONE TELL ME????
