No snark, these ladies are awesome. Fuck the NRA.

That’s probably my favourite too, haha.

Hey Gameologerinos! It’s time for Merve’s Alternative Weekend Prompt (MAWP). Inspired by Doctuar’s comment, I ask you: What is your favourite video game mod?

Don’t feel obligated to buy and play a game just because you’re hosting. When I was hosting, for a lot of games I would just set up the discussion and let people who actually owned the game take it from there.

It infuriates me that I never recognized the pun in the show’s title until you spelled it out for me here.

Heck, soap operas still recast roles occasionally.

In that case, it really depends on how much they nerfed the Dragon’s Tooth. If you can still one-shot MJ12 Commandos by sneaking up on them from behind and stabbing them in the small of their back, then keep using that cyber-sword; it’s just too fun not to use!

Yes, you absolutely want to put points in melee combat. Once you unlock the “magic sword,” shit gets wild and you can basically slice through anyone. It’s fucking amazing.

I’ve been playing a lot of Yakuza Kiwami. I just played a few rounds of Odd or Even with my adopted daughter some random orphan and then smashed up a gambling house. Fun times.

I had a slightly different read on Mae than you, and I think it’s because I picked up pretty early on the fact that she had some sort of mental breakdown at college. So I went through the entire game feeling she was sympathetic and wondering why a lot of people were treating her like garbage.

I’m actually happy about the delay. It gives me a chance to finish Kiwami and watch let’s plays and/or cutscene compilations of 2 through 5 before 6 comes out.

I didn’t find the narrative of XC2 terribly compelling until Chapter 4 or 5, when the game started delving into the relationship between Blades and humans in earnest. I’m in Chapter 6 now, and I thought it would be taken up entirely by the war between Uraya and Mor Ardain, but since that fizzled out into nothing, I

Gosh I hope they employed actual Chinese people to do the voice acting here.

I didn’t do the thing, because I convinced myself I was going to go back and collect more endings and play the DLC.

If Welsh accents in video games are your thing, then you owe it to yourself to play Xenoblade Chronicles 2.

This is a surprisingly not-completely-terrible apology. Huh.

*aleins

Haha, now that you’ve pointed it out, I recognize it. Which filter did you use to get that red effect?

Whew, someone call the burn ward for Josh Modell.

Neato! Where’s the first one from?
