Yankees have beaten both Chirinos and Morton and lit up Snell this season

The Dodgers get to play the Rockies and Diamondbacks and the Giants before they inexplicably got hot. The Yankees are in a division with two playoff contenders (though that’s a bit of a stretch to describe the Sox after this latest streak)

I see what you are saying, but on the other hand, when you have a team suffer a biblical plague of injuries not once but twice in one season, including the replacments and backups getting hurt, endure the worst streak of starting pitching in team history against two playoff contenders, and somehow -still- have the

“Giving the reigns to Moffat was a huge mistake in the first place. The damage he’s done to what was once a brilliant Who reboot by his need to imprint himself on other people’s work and kind-of “un-do” a great deal of established fact has and will always be disgusting.”

I mean, I disagree, and I don’t particularly feel the need to justify my love of the show under Moffat because it’s pretty clear that you are as entrenched in your position as I am mine.

I mean the show is only more popular than it ever was under RTD and some people actually found his plot arcs and thematic cohesion to be more ambitious and interesting that anything the reboot did but you do you.

Nihilus’s power came at the price of his endless hunger. It was as debilitating as it was advantageous. Starkiller got to be a protagonist.

Okay but Beldorian the Hutt Jedi.

I prefer to think of it as self-aware satire, but that seems well beyond KJA.

To be fair, I really enjoyed his Young Jedi Knight books as a kid. In hindsight they are complete nonsense, but they were fun and gave us the new generation which other authors proceeded to murder, torture, and sideline in favor of the trio of old farts in the later stuff.

Yeah, on board with most of the criticism here, but frankly Luke’s students *throwing Pellaeon’s fleet out of the Yavin system* is one of the most badass things in the EU, and Dorsk 81's sacrifice is among the more poignant moments. And frankly Callista sabatoging the Knight Hammer (what a name) is probably her best

I didn’t really mean to claim that, but I see why you read it that way. But the unfortunate truth is that while the modern Republican party (even pre-Trump) tried to pretend it was still the (still-slightly racist) coalition of Reagan, with the common ground of middle-class and small government values...racism and

It occurred to me I probably should have said ‘slightly less’ baggage, because yeah, there are a lot of skeletons in his closet that were overlooked when Uncle Joe became a thing as Obama’s happy go lucky vp.

Clinton’s ballooning lead right now is due in no small part to center-right independents and traditional Republicans, Romney and Bush voters, finally abandoning Trump and going with the sane option who, despite her turn towards the left has a reassuring feel of ‘moderate’ to them. This includes a lot of people with
