That's why that show always makes me laugh. These people walking into that pawn shop expecting to get a lot of money are just complete idiots. Its a PAWN SHOP. They have to buy it from you then sell it for a profit. It amazes me how people do not realize this fact and expect to get full value price on what they are

The only people that cry about pawn shops low balling people are A) The ghetto people that just want to make a quick buck for their drug habit...Or B ) People who don't understand how business actually works, in that YES the pawn shop gives you less than what you saw on ebay or what an internet site tells you...And

Spider gif on on aisle two!

SO awesome. How come the human body hasn't yet evolved protections like that, anyway? I mean, I know ducks are even more rapey than humans and all, but c'monnnn. We NEED adaptations like that! If not a massive corkscrew oviduct, then how about some pick-and-choose powers over them sperm packets....

I appreciate that you acknowledge that there is more beyond big males competing and choosy females choosing. People get really stuck on thinking that animal mating is all about males performing, fighting, and competing and females just do choosing. Sure, these are some examples of that, but nature is truly wonderful

Yay! I look forward to "Pro-Choice Cephalopods Gone Wild".

And let's not forget corkscrew vaginas of female ducks, possibly evolved as a counter to rapey male ducks, as previously covered by Jez. The animal kingdom is fuuuucked up.

If that facial expression doesn't say "here to fuck yo bitch", I don't know what does.

hmm that's what female peacocks look like?? It's a wonder all the males aren't just banging each other haha

'I guess I've always wondered how it came to be that women use cosmetics and dress in bright, sparkly colors when they go out while men, by comparison, look pretty drab.'

Geeez, peacock! NO MEANS NO.

Attenborough's PBS "Nature" episode on the birds of paradise ("Birds of the Gods") is SUCH a joy to watch from beginning to end! You get the politics and ecology and sociology of Papua New Guinea along with the birdwatching, and the whole thing is excellent. Plus, watching all those gloriously, improbably, surreally

For the youngs who never read the fat side:

A pretty tail always gets some tail.

Chris Tucker in the 5th Element is a Bird of Paradise made flesh

Yo, I'd do the same thing as the Bird of Paradise. It looks like so much fun.

Can you imagine a teenaged girl posting pictures of her friend's hot dad in a speedo to Twitter, and having people virtually high five her and try to convince him to take her?

LOLLLL. Asking a friend's parents to drive you somewhere is TOTES THE SAME as asking a friend's parent to take you to prom and then blasting pictures of her in a bikini on Twitter to see if you could really get her to do it.

God the fucking male entitlement just starts SO. EARLY.
