I think in these situations, people who leave their loaded guns lying around should be charged with some kind of negligence. Gun safety 101, neeeeever have guns where unsupervised kids can get ‘em!

I start foaming at the mouth whenever I see a photo or video where proper gun safety isn’t being practiced!
Agreed on both points. I do think there should be some kind of negligence charge for people leaving loaded guns where kids can get to them and then this shit happens.
One issue I have on this topic is that in college, so many classes are going to involve distressing material. History has a lot of violence and genocide. Social sciences are going to talk about some disturbing topics. Books you read for English and literature classes may contain all manners of things. Art classes…
This is my take on the matter. In college, “adult” topics are to be expected. Outside of math, certain sciences, and perhaps business and economics, you’d be hard-pressed to find college classes that don’t have material that might make some people uncomfortable. I got my major in anthropology, minor in biology. Just…
For real. I’ve seen people request trigger warnings for some pretty stupid stuff. There’s a huge difference between something making you uncomfortable and something causing you extreme trauma.
I’m looking forward to it! Sure, season 3 was a bit weaker than season 2, but season 2 is a pretty high bar to live up to. The show already has a large cast, with potential to increase, so there is a lot of material to work with. Like other viewers, I do hope Piper gets downplayed eventually. She served a purpose at…
Yeah, I won’t be surprised if the show gets rid of her at some point, whether she gets released or sent somewhere else or whatever, or if they just stop focusing on her. The show already has a large cast, and by this point there’s no need for the show to have a central character.
During a flashback, we see her smoke weed with other teenagers(?) on what appears to be a military base.
That’s a pretty dumb argument. You could use that on any issue that is less severe than starving children.
$20 is underpriced. Have you seen how much dolphin interaction programs go for?
Hey, there’s nothing wrong with being a zoo enthusiast!
That’s interesting. Maybe women tend to buy stylish but cheap clothes, while guys are more likely to spend extra for something durable? But I know good suits can be expensive too.
Ha ha, agreed. I don’t mind sexy lady characters at all, but there is a point where it just looks stupid.
I wonder if people thought that about the last of every now-extinct animal.
Critically endangered is the highest level before extinction. You can also count functional extinction (in which there may be one to a few members of a species left, but not enough to help the population recover) if you wish, but the official conservation groups and environmental organizations don’t do that.
Some species/subspecies of tigers and rhinos will be around for a long time. Even if they die out in the wild, there will still be captive populations. But it’s still something we want to avoid.
He’s beautiful!
Similarly, the wives of samurai, while still viewed as lower than the men, were entrusted with many responsibilities as well. And like the women you mention, they were also often trained to fight so they could defend their homes and children. (some even fought alongside male warriors in battle)
This is why I don’t give a shit what anyone thinks of my outfits. No matter what, someone is gonna complain.
