Most people are only familiar with the healthier, higher functioning folks who have it. They don’t always realize how severe it can be or the other health problems that can come with it. That’s probably why they’re only focusing on DS rather than other conditions.

Before I went off to college, I’d get a haircut once a year, usually before school started. One year, when I was 14 or so, I had been asking for a haircut for a while but my mom wouldn’t take me. Can’t remember if she thought it was too early or if she didn’t have the money. Whenever she took me to the salon, she made

My little furry pumpkin. <3

Maybe older people are just less likely to give a shit about stuff like this. Or maybe it just represents a cultural shift in NYC. Maybe the older people see NYC differently from the young ones, like, the older ones still see NYC as a big, crazy city while younger ones expect it to be more family friendly and cater to

Apparently in the 90’s, Vegas was trying to market itself as a family-friendly destination. Lots of families came, but it proved to be less profitable than gamblers so they switched back, but there are still lots of people who take families.

Agreed. Kids should learn about this stuff BEFORE they start having sex. If you wait until they’re in high school, most of them won’t care because they’ve gotten the information from other sources.

Aw, shit, how will I sneak my candy in now? (it’s not so much that I’m cheap, it’s just that theaters never have Shockers) I don’t go to any Regal Cinemas, but I suppose if the theaters I go to start searching bags, I’ll just have to get sneaky. Hide ‘em in the side pockets and stuff.

Even when I was a kid, I didn’t believe in the idea of “the One”. Cause if two people are only destined to fall in love with each other, what if one of them dies in childhood, or at some point before they ever get a chance to meet the other person? What if the other person is on the other side of the planet and

Maybe he was referring to the possibility of his partner cheating on him?

People take issue with sororities and frats because they’re promoted by universities. If a group is deliberately trying to prevent certain types of people from joining, that doesn’t look so good for the college.

You know, I can see why kids might buy into that mindset. 12 is about the age a lot of kids like that start to think that they’re old enough to make these kinds of decisions, and that they can’t be manipulated by adults like that. But older people should know better than to blame the kid.

Miley Cyrus was a child when the show started. There’s no way she could’ve known how being famous would’ve affected her as she got older.

Yep. I started watching Sense8 about a week ago, and I would get really hyped up during the action scenes. Hell, even when I’m watching a kid cartoon that I’m really invested in, an intense action scene can hype me up too.

I might make another tempt to create a Migaloo plush. My last one didn’t go too well...

THEY’RE COMPLETELY DIFFERENT SPECIES ONE IS A TOOTHED WHALE AND THE OTHER IS A BALEEN WHALE THEY’RE NOT EVEN IN THE SAME GENUS

Just get a race lift!

Well-said. When I was a kid, I received a lot of beauty product stuff as a kid, but I rarely used them. I wasn’t interested in that stuff at the time.

Maybe the female version of the ark was only filled with girly animals, like ponies and dolphins.

Seriously, if I was buying a gift for a child, I’d try to think of something that the individual child would like rather than just looking in the gendered aisles. A boy might prefer art supplies over action figures, and a girl might prefer plastic animals over dolls. If I didn’t know the child at all, I’d try to pick

Shit, I’m only 22 and toys today are even more gender segregated than when I was a kid.
