The issue is not electric vehicles, it’s storage of energy... Motor fuels store energy that can last long time and is distribution is plentiful. EV storage (ie batteries) is still in its infancy... lithium batteries are not hugely efficient, a very dirty production and disposal endeavour...

Buna-N and Urethane rubbers are common in gasoline usage and are not compatible with ethanol. Stop spouting the BS that all rubber is immune to ethanol. Hell, not all rubbers are immune from water.
