yeah, the real issue with those ~<$25k trucks is that they’re probably the stripper models for teasing people. Cheap trucks without all the sweet bits; they’ll sell but fewer than the well-equipped models the dealers order. The dealers know how it works. Bait and switch :

I live in neighborhood where all too many people profile with F-150 Lightnings, Raptors, Landies, MB G-class, etc. etc. There are plenty of people who don’t really NEED a truck. But they definitely WANT one. I’m one of those people; I really miss my old C-10. But that’s ok, if I really NEED one I can go to U-Haul and

Meh, no, the reason for not having trucks under $25K ever again is not because of auto legislation. The same legislation applies to cars generally. The real reason no such trucks exist is because the OEMs understand how Americans want big, giant manly trucks to drive. That’s why Escalades, Silverados, Rams, F-x50s,

Ehh, these calculations are always iffy. Back in the day when I was a solar panel advocate, my dad (a nuke twiddler from old-school AI/NRC) used to give me lectures on how nukes were way more efficient than solar would ever be. He’d whip out all the stats and calculations about costs vs. efficiency vs etc. etc. Now

Haha, think about Halflife fans, Valve left everyone hanging for so long as well.....

Every time I hear or read about Kareem, he just gets better and better for me. I really didn’t like him at all when he was with the Bucks and wasn’t sure what was going to happen when he joined the Lakers. Since then (and not because Showtime was a success), I’ve really come to appreciate what an interesting and

Yeah, I have to revisit that show. Only an episode or 2 in mid-season so it’s hard to jump in like that.

Yvette : But I must have you alive. Alive, as you have already been every evening, for weeks, for months.

Long shot pulls away down a long, long garden pool area until the characters are tiny. Then a jump shot back to the Gitane ashes landing on the dirt, the cigarette exhausted landing next, and then his heel

I really don’t know why the showrunners got rid of Chaves and Akin; I loved the first season and why the new showrunners decided to go another way kind of messed the show up IMHO. But yeah, that was a fun show to watch along with Friday the 13th....

Soba noodles; buckwheat joy especially for a hot day. You just need to get some boiled up, cooled down immediately and then combine it with a bit of dashi and some veggies and a little bit of protein (if you want). Very nice when you don’t want a full-on bowl of hot soup.

There’s a lot of noodles out there; when I go into a big 99 Ranch, it can be pretty intimidating going down the dry noodle section. And I’m Asian so I should be ok with it. But many noodles are used in specific ways so it pays to understand a little about the kind of noodles and the types of broth that go with them.

Man, it’s a wonder I don’t catch measles, mumps or rubella with all the damn anti-vaxxers around......

Please, use Cadet Bonespurs instead....don’t dignify the Tangerine Tantrum....

Thought about this for awhile now. While the farmers are in a tough spot and the availability of old tractors is fading rapidly, at least the military should be making changes to the contract structures that allow these pieces of crap to be bought. One wonders who exactly is writing these contracts? Is it the

If there was a SEMA supplier who is big enough to cover this gear, it’s an opportunity...

Unfortunately, while I’ve been superlucky and never been sea, air, car-sick, the majority of my family is. Not a pretty sight for sure. Some of them are just meant to be land-lubbers. But sucking on a slice of ginger does help them.

I’ve found that having your own water bottle is super good. Add a little lemon/lime juice and a bit of honey and a slice of ginger to settle the stomach. Otherwise a little bit of sweet like soft cookies and a little bit of salty like Chexmix. Nothing too heavy or that requires much prep. Some candied ginger for that

Unfortunately, you’re speaking of Japanese 7/11s. Ahh, 7/11, Lawson, FamilyMart, I dream of all that tasty fresh stuff. Then I walk into a US 7/11 and see those horrible hotdogs....talk about rude awakenings.....

The problem with GM is that its’ value (not stock share value) is always problematic. It’s not really a stretch to say that much of GM is unrealized value given how much they’ve screwed up over the years. If one were to look at strictly the financial side of their business, it’s probably just ok, barely good enough.

Ehh, who cares? Stock market pricing for the majority of individuals is really just a fancy form of gambling anyways. Most individuals don’t have the horsepower to take advantage market timing like the big shops in the exchanges anyways. If you’re shorting TSLA, it’s essentially a guess anyways, so what’s the big
