McParland has a great idea. Otherwise, for $5k, here’s a Jeep in L.A. (assuming that’s the departure point) : Laredo . Autotraders has quite a few more including some with A/4WD; Jeep quality otherwise but there’s probably tons of parts/fixers for them. Perfect for going into Death Valley (during spring or winter only

LOL, the funniest and saddest one I’ve heard recently is that the Canadians and the Australians were the ones who actually developed it because they “figured” it out first. Of course, we all know it was the Russians who did it because secretly they want all the warm water ports in China......

Well, technically, this is a new strain of coronavirus so it’s really “new” only in that respect. The cov strains 229E, NL63, OC43, and HKU1 are seen really often as common colds and we already know about SARS and MERS. If people really understood better how virus and bacteria work, it’d be easier to curtail disease

If you’re child-free, there’s very little reason to want/drive a minivan unless it’s for work. Even with 1-2 kids, it’s not absolutely necessary. The moment you hit 3, though, it becomes a good idea. At 4, it’s a necessity if you’re still married since you’ll be driving 6 bodies around (at least). If those 6 have

You forgot the gloves. And for really disgusting stuff denatured ethanol is sometimes required. Experience ? Call center keyboards where users would pick their noses, clean their foot jam, and eat their crud at their desks.....

Hehehe. Ok, then!

Yeah, homegrown and ripened tomato destroy anything from a store or the back of a Sysco truck. A properly feed and ripened tomato is an amazing taste; if you try the different kinds of properly grown tomatoes, you realize that when someone talks about tomatos tasting like mush, they’ve never had real tomatos. My wife

Well, for those who don’t like ketchup, there’s always catsup.....

They’d do better if they made a better grill decision and, btw, made the screen interface nicer. That mouse rig sucks; the Germans might tout their knob as “efficient” (it’s not really) and the Lexus might say the Remote Touch is “user-friendly” but we barely use it. Simplify without making it more difficult. Fewer

Oh, and it is really necessary for someone from Facebook to claim they’re into family and philanthropy? ‘Cuz that’s throwing some serious shade at people who really are into family and philanthropy.....

I might be interested in a brand -new 240Z with 2.8 liters/fuel injection and a 5 speed. That’d be fun to drive....Don’t really like the 370Z looks although technically, it’s way better (except for those brakes).

It’s hilarious that this is posted here instead of on DS; guess the herbalites still don’t know what they’re doing. Spannfeller and fellow herbs are just sad little puppies.....

Gee, I wish it were more like an Elva GT160, instead of yet another Mclaren 57xx knockoff.....

Yes, I happen to be associated with health care as well (my mother was a cytotech, a person who would look at blood samples through microscope to look for evidence of diseases), plus I work next to a hospital in a medical office. It’s amazing to see so many people don the “breathing protection for psychological

It’s almost hilarious in the darkest show of humor. Today, I was at the gas station and a guy was wearing a surgical mask (one of blue surgically ones that aren’t really effective against much). Anyways, I wasn’t sure if he had it on because of C-virus or gas fumes; either way, that thing was like waving a

At least he can drink it at a table with women....besides who doesn’t love a little choco milk every now and then?

Thank you!

As usual, misses the entire San Fernando Valley. We’re like chopped liver even though we got the golden ghetto....

Nice hiking but bring sunscreen, a hat, and plenty of water. Don’t go when it’s raining.

Very interesting. I wonder if these 5023 really used the stock OM 934 LA which doesn’t seem to be turboed. The OM 936 LA which does appear to be turboed standard seems to be a much better engine for altitude. This is not saying that the 934 is a weaker engine, for a 4 cylinder (5.1 liters!), it’s quite powerful....
