Creme Puff still kinda blows my mind. The whole idea of an almost 40-year old cat!

Yeah but it was like 65 degrees last week! I'll never understand why people voluntarily live in the cold parts of the country lol.

And stop-motion Matrix bullet time!

Everybody wants the apocalypse to come during their lifetime; being the Last Of All Time is a much more thrilling way to go than after 50 years of cubicle drudgery. Death wish writ large.

Yeah I LOVE this idea.

>You can all go back to your child-free lives and I will sit in my apartment and never go outside with my baby again

Lol. I don't come into your daycare with a bottle of Bulleit and a grudge, please don't ruin my vices by dragging a baby to my watering hole.

Hellstar Remina!

Uh oh.

io9 is actually refreshingly civil, for the internet. :)

Honestly, I just take exception to the idea that "the government" is an inherently inferior institution to solving problems/deciding where money goes than "the free market". There are times when less regulation is warranted, and times when greater regulation is warranted. Theoretically, the government is accountable

I was going to say! I know many people who voted for Obama and might answer "disapprove" because they disagree with his foreign policy, continued Gitmo operations, and domestic surveillance, for example. Not really the same as disapproving because he's a Muslim Commie Socialist or whatever far-right nonsense.

And the promise that her Death Snatch might rise again

"accused of said faggotry" made me LOL

I'm getting more of a Dennis Reynolds vibe

How so?

Yay Washington! It's really nice having several weeks and a mail-in ballot; generally it has made me a more thoughtful voter (having time to research issues that I'm not sure about) and has increased turn-out in off year elections. My only beef is that the return envelopes should be postage paid, and I'm not sure how

Not really, considering once you showed up and weren't on the voter registration they'd turn you away without a ballot.
