It has it’s moments, but compared to the greatness that is Blazing Saddles, Young Frank and his other early work, it falls short. Spaceballs is very much the line in the sand. Everything before Spaceballs: gold. Everything after: crap (and yes I include Men In Tights in that. Fight me)

I’ve also gone through a few paperbacks after lending them out. I have it on Kindle, and my husband found me a slightly worn hard cover that’s a second edition which is pretty sweet. There was an edition that came out about 10 years back that had a new foreword from Adams, but I don’t know if it was ever available as

I’m actually in the middle of building the Polar Lights 1/350 refit Enterprise, fully lighted and sequenced, with the subtle four color pearlescent over bright white. It’ll probably end up being a two+ year project and cost around $1500 including aftermarket accurizing parts and equipment. I’ve heard the contract

It was just a two word review in my local paper

More like Watership Let-Down...

Living in a vacuum of other people who never get told “no” or “shut up, that’s fucking stupid,” unless it’s their director or agent must do wonders for one’s social awareness and sense of self worth.

I can.

Well she wrote novels that spouted rich people were Gods, basically said screw the poor and helping them in any way (or really helping people is bad because it meant you were impeding your own happiness, so just be selfish its better) and was a big old hypocrite in the end since she had to use govenments programs to

You are not missing anything when Zack Snyder adapted his edgelord DCU fan fic...

Your life was enriched by its absence. It sucks.

I wouldn’t even give him Batman, because well he, unsurprisingly, made Batman into a complete self-righteous, hypocritical, asshole. Because apparently a real life Batman would just murder left and right without any qualms :/

Snyder always comes off like a thirteen-year-old boy who’s just listened to The Wall all the way through for the first time and has decided that the world is bullshit, Mom and Dad. He should never have been allowed within a light year of the Superman franchise.

[psst! that’s a STATUE! not an ACTION figure! Notice the lack of joints?]

Oh my god, we should be best friends! In case you haven’t already seen it, the Monterey Bay Aquarium currently has a Mola Mola in their Open Sea exhibit and you can see it occasionally swim by here. I like to leave it open on an extra monitor while I’m working and I get so happy every time the sunfish swims by!

Also an Attenborough fan :) I’m no expert, but I worked for some time at a company that provides services to fisheries. I know... Some stuff.

No Blu-Ray. You can get a digital version in HD for about $8 from the usual sources, though.

The word “impossible” is found only in the dictionary of fools.

Why Disney didn’t get the same team of people to write and direct all 3 movies is beyond me.

You want the impossible!
