I'm no scientist (don't even play one on TV), but if hydrogen atoms resonate at a frequency of 1420 MHz how do you tell that apart from space based radio signals at the same frequency? Aren't the astronomers just listening to the white noise of the universe?

Without getting into all the technical/writing/music categories I saw 5 of these this year and 2 films nominated for Razzies. Overall a plus 3 for the season. I'll take that.
