If too large of a breaker is fitted you can have enough current flow to ignite wiring and insulation well before the breaker trips.

The only weakness any of those motors have is still the intake manifold gasket. The OEM ones are total trash and fail really often, there are much nicer upgraded aftermarket ones, and you need a good diligent tech to do the job right.

Old VWs have relatively high Crank-Case pressure but oil-cap popping is something else.

I’ve never used thread lock on caliper bolt or caliper bracket bolts.
