As a former Mechanic and former NYSI, this is a little hard to weigh in on.

The Miata I think falls into that sweet spot where it has “enough” power to not feel “slow” but the real magic is how it makes you feel when you hold that speed through corners. Driving a light, low power, car with good handling quickly through corners makes you feel magical, like a pro.

CAN is the local area network in the car, the hack work by exploiting a voulnerability in the head unit to gain access to the CAN and send false or malicious commands to the BCM, ECM, TCM, ect...
