Look out, everyone. We got a badass over here.
Look out, everyone. We got a badass over here.
Do you remember what the other options were? Bobcats, Stallions, Texans, Toros, and Apollos. The Bobcats sounds like every high school team that ever took a field, the Stallions sounds like we're trying to be the Broncos, the Toros makes no goddamn sense at all, and the Apollos? This is the NFL, we don't name teams…
That's my feeling, too. And it's horrifying and incredibly sad all at once.
It's not so baffling... to the para-military "cops" in Ferguson, that's exactly what they're doing - going to war.
Did these few hundred people that assembled have the proper permit to demonstrate in the area?
Not just here. io9 and the other Gawker sites, too.
Damn, you can afford a LOT of Jell-O fondant! Hell, you can afford the real stuff! I MUST KNOW MORE.
You beat me to it! I grew up in southern Mass and RI and I absolutely remember that jingle.
I'm soooo thankful that we avoided that whole thing - we were married a few years before Facebook started taking off. I can't imagine trying to go through wedding prep with Facebook in the mix.
I'm a fan of rewards generally speaking, but I hate cash back cards because they bury the limits in the fine print. I've got a card that gives cash back, and they advertise, for example 5% on gas and hotels, 1% on everything else. So it sounds like if you travel and drive a lot, you could easily rack up a ton of…
By "beforehand," I mean "when you make the reservation." Oh, you didn't make a reservation — actually, you didn't even call 10 minutes ahead to let us know you were coming? You just showed the fuck up with 20 people on a busy Friday expecting that'd be totally cool? Get the fuck out.
We live in a neighborhood with no through-traffic and the school is literally around the corner (okay, technically it's around two corners). We let our daughter ride her bike or walk on her own starting last year - third grade, age 8. A couple of other noteworthy points though: first, it's less than a three minute…
And that's always a welcome reminder, which is why I'm not spazzing out as much certain others might be ;) You do good work, sir.
I have a bit, yeah. I had a couple of recipes that called for fresh and I really wanted to go that way because generally fresh > frozen, IMO, but man those pearl onions are a bear.
I know why it was posted and I'm not coming down hard on it... but it does have the flavor of "Is your cream cheese secretly killing you? Tune in to Local 4 News at 11 to learn how this seemingly innocuous spread might be endangering your life."
I'll try it, thanks! I've been avoiding pearl onions ever since the first time I tried peeling a bunch of them for a dish years ago.
Do we have to wait until Dave Grohl dies to admit that the Foo Fighters are better than Nirvana?
I stand corrected! I looked for information about that when I tried out TorrenTV last week, but couldn't find anything that supported what you're saying. Could you shoot us a link? Because I would love to use TorrenTV with my VPN!
Some skins can be pretty tight, though. If you get a batch that scoring & peeling doesn't work well on, this might be a good alternative.
I tried out TorrenTV and here's the thing - you can't use a VPN with it. If you do, you won't have access to your AppleTV. It's one or the other because of the tech involved. If you're not worried about getting nailed for torrenting something, TorrenTV is a good solution. If you want security, it's not.
