This is one of those things where I wonder if sous vide just can’t get hot enough. If they’re normally steamed and cooked fast (faster than 5 hours at least) that might explain why they take the final form they do. It might not be really possible to get consistent results with a much lower temperature and a much

Well, this was surprising. I’ve been thinking about a dedicated Amazon card for a while now, because I do a ton of shopping on Amazon, and 3% on their card makes more sense than 1% on my Discover card. So, this article comes up today, and I finally decided to crunch the numbers.

No state has a more unjustly inflated sense of pride than Texas.

Come on, this is bullshit and you know it. If you don't like the so-called double standard there's an easy solution. Don't be a woman.

Commenter Who Bashed Commenter Who Was Bashing Comment Which... no, wait, I lost it.

In other news, if you visit a porn site and download a file called ThisIsAKeylogger.exe and you install it on your computer, you're going to get "hacked".

It should take you one day every two years to familiarize yourself with the candidates and ballot issues. It's not rocket science. There's no

That's different. I have zero problem with people who do not vote out of protest of all the candidates. That is perfectly valid - if you're well-informed and you have a legitimate beef with both/all the candidates, by all means, vote for neither.

I live in Texas. I'm 39. Yesterday, I voted at just after 8 am. The polling place was quiet, not even a line. You guys that think you're going to be the hero that saves the day need to be damn sure your concealed carry is really concealed, because otherwise you're just giving a shooter someone to take out first.

About four years ago a well-known woman in the industry told me that I needed to stay away from a certain person because I'd be throwing away my reputation if I had anything to do with him. He was unethical, I was told. He was scummy, I was told. Nobody would respect me, I was told.

True, true. Loophole was not the right word to use there.
