I don't question the logistics or feasibility of it. It's the ethnic strife. British kids aren't brought up to harbor an unwavering mistrust and loathing towards the French for raping, torturing, and slaughtering millions of their countrymen during wartime.

My brain can't even begin to process the concept of a most fundamental of Chinese classics being performed by Japanese. It's like a German adaptation of The Ride of Paul Revere.

Man, what an embarrassment. The China Central TV is still the definitive Journey to the West after all these years. Even the CG-heavy remake has nothing close to the charisma of the 80s CCTV original.

Or an X-series w/ i7 and SSD.

Coffee grounds work for the same reason (oils) and provide some light abrasive action for the really stubborn residual glue left on glass/ceramic.

Have you tried going to PortableApps.com and building a USB flash drive w/ Firefox on it? That just occurred to me as a possible solution. Seems to me a work computer may not let you install new programs, but it can't prevent you from executing them off a mounted disk.

I'm running Chrome in WinXP Pro and I can never see Youtube embeds in the new gawker layout. But if I switch to Firefox or Opera, I can see it.

Caralain, bloodlesscoup, I know of another high school girl w/ a broody vampire beau who's more worthy of your time....

I should leave instructions in a living will or something so that if I ever wake up with amnesia, I be shown Terminator 1-2 so I get to see the twist unspoiled.

Agreed. This was originally pointed out to me in the Television Without Pity recap of T2: Judgment Day. You see it especially when the T1000 pulls up to the foster home in the police car and the frame is dominated by "To Serve and Protect" on the patrol car door. Then there's the little smile the T1000 gives

Okay, I've been asking my friends for days, but does anyone here have ANY idea who the white-haired bespectacled man over Neville's shoulder is? (Neville is the one holding the sword.) I've heard someone suggest it's Ollivander. I can't think of anyone else.

They're not bishie flowers, they're funeral flowers. And they're *lilies*.

That's not a kingslayer. THIS is a Kingslayer.

Blade Runner is also shot in very dark and cramped environments, which never look good in 3D.

It happens in the same universe and has dealings w/ the Space Jockey's species and proto-xenomorphs, but is not a direct prequel to Alien (1979).

I really can't stand the ego on Ed Norton. He'd be trying to rewrite Whedon's pages on the set. He's like James Franco without the hipster charm and doofy this-pie-is-SO-GOOD grin.

Actually, Connors is played by Xenophilius Lovegood...so...yeah. Looks like his wife isn't the only ill-fated experimenter.

You should be fine. I'd look up a few how-to sites beforehand, but a Cr-48 has more or less standard Atom netbook internals, just w/ a small SSD instead of HDD so the hardware detection should go smoothly.
