Could not stand the animated Dean, especially without Jensen's voice. Didn't even make it halfway thru ep 1.

Since it's Guillermo del Toro, the choice to play Beast is obvious. Then the universe can parlay that into a role for Emma Watson as Sarah Connor in the inevitable Terminator reboot.

"Dennis, society is falling apart at the seams and you've got... BUTTERFINGERS?!!"

Brad Pitt as Captain America... that's plausible enough to have happened in some mirrorverse where Marvel launched its unified movie initiative 10 yrs earlier.

This, a thousand times this. I'm glad someone has the thoughtfulness to bring a modicum of scientific sensibility to the discussion.

Just a small heads-up but the Honda Element interior is far from waterproof. Mudproof, yes, but not water. I wrote warranty reports for Honda once and we had a customer who tried mopping their Element and fried the ECM under the floorboards.

Actually, the CW already had a more than worthy Whedonesque successor in Supernatural. Its staff has quite a few Whedon vets writing, most notably Ben Edlund, better known as the man who gave us Muppet Angel. On SPN, Edlund is responsible for awesome things like a porn-stealing, alcoholic, clinically depressed

They're best seen with Rifftrax. Transformers and Twilight are prime examples of why Rifftrax exists.

The only good thing about The Host so far is that they've cast Saoirse Ronan, who is just an amazing young actress. (Just saw her as a teen assassin in Hanna)

Sean Connery was only 12 yrs older than Harrison Ford when they were father/son in Last Crusade. Same goes for Bruce Campbell and Nathan Fillion in Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception over in the our mirrorverse.

I love Rocketeer, but will not forgive Johnston for giving us Alan Grant "talking" to velociraptors.

Let's not forget that Rocketeer director Joe Johnston has another helmeted, patriotic all-American hero hitting the silverscreen this year. Yup, he's the one helming Captain America: The First Avenger! Although it loses 10 pts automatically for not having Jennifer Connelly.

Then we can finally settle the question of where the heck the Nazis were hiding that giant zeppelin in LOS ANGELES.

Now playing

It needs James Horner's Rocketeer theme. One of the finest movie scores to ever evoke the feeling of soaring, right up there w/ John Williams' Superman fanfare.

Volkswagen, actually. Ratzinger owned an old VW and VW actually gave him a Phaeton when he made Pope.

And *I* will just leave *this* here...

I love that guy! After I saw his "my n*gga Ned" spazflail last week, I ended upwatching ALL of his GoT reviews. He's enthusiastic for 1-8 and then for 9 he's fuming and seething at the camera, unable to give a full review.

Gives me an excuse to dust off the corgi.
