I’m incresingly shocked that people can’t be bothered to do the slightest bit of digging to find decent games on phones.

Much like art auctions: it’s probably money laundering.

“Doesn’t like politics” means he’s fortunate enough to not be affected by politics.

I have generally found groups and agencies that behave like this are aware of what technology can do in a general sense, but are nigh catastrophically ignorant of the lengths said technology can go to get what it wants anyway.

this is like those star wars freaks who think that remaking the duel from ANH with deepfakes fighting like the prequels is an improvement.

Well aren’t you just a paragon of virtue. If only everyone could just be as good as you, there would simply be no sociological issues to confront anymore. We just would have worked all our asses off (which we obviously don’t do now...) and used our brains more! Simple! Amirite? Man, I wish I could be more like you.

Dear god, you are tiresome.
Here is what I first wrote. Read it and understand it. It’s very simple.

No disagreement at all there. Gran Turismo was an inflection point for gaming, not just the racing genre but in the way it legitimized video games as a way to simulate reality. (This was happening on the PC side for a bit, but GT broadened it.) The mainstream appeal hit critical mass with GT3, at that point just about

The amount of people on the internet with Asperger’s, trying to tell us what is and what isn’t funny, is one of life’s miseries.

I didn’t have any issues with the management. Once you get pass Rank 100, it got easier and easier. The only thing annoying is having to press R2 every time.

This is going to be hardest on Bristol, Track, Twig, Smock, Groot, Krunk, Willow, Slider, Stub, Twiddle, Piper, Fluff, Carat, Keg, Snuggle, Bop, Rice and Spoit.

Exactly!

Dear Roxane,

I get your point, mine is that rare and obscure are different.Nobody alive today will see Julius Caesar, but he’s not obscure.

I feel like GoG used to have a very focused market: old games that worked on modern systems.
But now the service is full of newer games and often they’re cheaper on rival platforms and DRM free just isn’t that big a selling point to most people.
That said I have bought a lot of games from GoG (119 in my library

And it probably won’t live up to this one

I teach Rhet/Comp (academic argument founded in classical logic) for a living.

I run into students like this all. The. Damn. Time.

They’re generally incapable of recognizing their own biases or propensity for fallacies, preferring to see everyone who disagrees with them as lacking in enlightenment.

These same students

I was perusing the Dragon Quest XI forum on Steam today (I know, I know—Steam forum was my first mistake), and I shit you not, someone had linked to Kotaku’s review of the game, and the majority of the discussion had nothing whatsoever to do with that review, but was rather focused around Kotaku being a haven for SJWs

LOL. If you want a “site that keeps opinion to a minimum,” start by sparing us your own. Did you think we wouldn’t notice your review, because it’s in parentheses?

One time as a kid on family vacation to Orlando, we took the tour but it was during the off season, so no one was filming. They had us do a little trivia contest instead which I was selected for and won in a landslide, and all the other 10 year olds were very impressed that I could name all four main characters of
