Ignatius's mother from A Confederancy of Dunces was definitely anti vax. Ignatius and Myrna Minkoff probably were too. If anybody accused Ignatius of being wrong about being anti vax, he probably would have told them that they've upset him and now his gastric valve is open.

Valerian an hour before bed helps me. And playing a game like naming food starting with the last letters of the previous words (e.g. lettuce, egg, game, etc.) usually makes me fall asleep quickly and prevent worries popping into my head.

Yup. And anybody who uses the metro in Paris on the tube in London gets black stuff up their nose too. Or is that just me?

They forgot about Screech. Given his recent behaviour, I'm not surprised though.

I went to laughter yoga once. I managed to laugh, but by the end of it, my cheeks hurt and I had a migraine. My boyfriend has TMJ and he was also in pain.

it reminds me of when my little cousin said to me 'my cat scratched me once. He's dead now.'

This will totally be stuck in the greys, but I promise, I have a good story. I've told it before but being stuck in the greys, it didn't get then appreciation it deserves.

thank you for sharing those stories, I really enjoyed them. Your son is the star of those stories, he sounds awesome.

I have watched the show up to halfway through season 2, and I was thinking of giving up. But your article has made me reconsider.

I actually think my cat is trying to incept me, to make sure I never get a dog. The other night I had a dream that we got a dog, but instead of being happy about it I was stressed and kept on saying 'but dogs are so much responsibility! And our cat is not going to be happy about this! We've made a huge mistake!'

Haha, no worries. Spanish speaking countries are absolutely terrible for giving places the same name all the time anyway, according to Wikipedia there's 3 La Palmas in Spain, and about 5 in central and South America. So probably not too bad to assume it was in Chile!

Oh my lordy, did you see the synopsis?

I must watch that. But maybe with the Piper switched off, I don't want to give it any ideas.

Yeah, when I saw the Orion Nebula through a telescope recently I was like 'meh, the pictures were so much better'. At least it's fun when you're editing the photos, and photoshop is like 'surprise! more stars!'.

Haha, when my mom can't help imparting the momness, I can't help imparting the teenagerness of 'DUHOFCOURSEIKNOWDUH'.

Also, do not trust that your children have temperature receptors in their skin (maybe it skips a generation?). Also don't think about how they moved away years ago, have been dressing themselves and have managed to survive this long since being independent from you. Repeat many times that they need to dress warmly.

They sound like the security system we have installed in our house, Piper. It alerts us when the weather is getting anyway close to 'extreme' (i.e. we live in the UK, the weather rarely gets extreme). Here's an example, as best as I can remember it:

Yeah, it could have been the time of year. I would definitely try again in the summer - better chances of a clear sky, and the temperature will be better at the high altitude.

I asked because I was recently in La Palma, where they have a dark sky preserve and observatories.

This is awesome.
