They’re the same ones who, like evangelicals praying for the rapture, hope that Trump’s reign will destroy everything and thus bring about the socialist heaven of their dreams.

Were these college educated women?

Well played. You managed to write a headline that was broad enough to have the subsequent article you wrote technically fall under it’s purview while also being specific enough to get a rise out of all the Clinton haters to come here and talk about how awful she is for “helping” Mike Pompeo.

FOUND ANOTHER ONE!

Did you read the article? Or just the headline?

Like, who gives a shit at this point? She’s not President. She spends most of her time out of the public eye. She literally owes nobody anything. This country chose Donald Trump over her. Her debts have been paid.

First of all:

Splinter gets more clicks railing against Trump than they do fellating the administration of whoever ends up being the Democratic nominee should they win. It’s actually in Splinter’s best interests from a business standpoint for Trump to win again. Ironic.

“no one on this planet more blood thirsty than Hillary Clinton.”

This is a dumb take. Especially since your own article shares that. ““These were lengthy calls seeking advice” from the former secretaries, a person familiar with Pompeo’s prep work told Politico,” indicating that multiple secretaries, including Clinton, spoke to him.

If that was true, surely it would have been mentioned in the original article, so you must be the one who is incorrect.

Wow this is such a vile fucked up article. Why is she talking to that idiot, because maybe she hopes, probably wrongly, that her advice may stem the shit show his appointment will cause and maybe she doesn’t want to see this country end up in wars over egos.

Why is Clinton even taking a call from such a monstrous person?

Oh no, how dare she offer sound advice and do what little she can to make sure we have a functioning State Dept.

But but Clinton.

Oh, give me a break. As a specialist in foreign affairs, I can tell you that the rebuilding of our state department is too important to sacrifice to partisan bickering. Mike Pompeo, for all his faults, has shown a willingness to listen to and learn from area specialists, and has proven his abilities as an able

but I have no idea how even a fully-staffed department under Pompeo would improve America or the world in the slightest.

Please provide the reporting where she is “eager to help Mike Pompeo ruin the world”.

If all Clinton told Pompeo to do is rely on the somewhat apolitical, career officials, that seems like common sense advice. Presumably, the career folks are going to be less likely to have Pompeo’s dumbass views, so suggesting that he listen to them is not a bad thing.

This is just like Obama helping Trump with the transition, as painful as it was watching Obama grin and bear it while sitting next to that orange bastard. I’m not saying we should always take the high road, but in both cases there’s nothing to gain by being petty, and at least the possibility that it might benefit the
