This is rad to see released, even if it won’t be terribly useful to run on emulators for awhile. This made sense as a continuous integration target for the multiplatform Unreal engine, even knowing they weren’t going to release it. Effectively, this is Good software development in practice.

My brain processed that as “Age/Sex/Location?”  and now I feel old

Good luck with that!

You must be in deep. Dump your kid’s college fund into crypto?

Now playing

The music absolutely rules, here’s a great metal cover of that first dungeon. When I first got the game I just had a PC speaker, and it was still pretty good!

I agree, and I’d like to throw in Faxanadu with that. I love platformers and RPGs, and I think some of those early attempts would do great with a bit of polish. The jump and movement physics of both could use some refinement. The limited text didn’t do them favors either. I still play them every so often cause I love

Something that helps me with retrogaming decision anxiety is to keep one system plugged into my TV front and center. I could leave six consoles plugged in and ready to go, but it’s never helpful.  When playing emulators it’s the same kinda deal, although the problem there is that it’s so easy to go download all 700

I finally picked up Mr. Driller Drill Land on Switch.  It’s super good!  It’s fairly resistant to joycon drift, which is also a bonus.  On that note, I need to fix my joycon drift for the nth time so I can finish up my second run of Dragon Quest Builders 2.

I don’t know, I imagine there’s decent overlap in the venn diagram of “People who bought the PS5 in the first few months” and “Willing to pay full price for a game”

I liked the part where she ate noodles.  Riveting stuff!

Personally, mine’s more of a heap

I miss the ADHD stuff SO MUCH

I think they just meant everything after the 1999 DVD release of Macross Plus in the US

There is a god!

This absolutely fucking rules. The part of my brain that plays beatmania doesn’t like the sloppy timing, but rapid flailing is more fun and seems to work better anyway 💃💃💃

I entirely forgot Apple arcade was a thing, but Hot Shots Clap Hanz Golf alone might be worth the price of admission.  I still play the Vita version sometimes.

Does anyone play this solo?  I’ve been tempted to check it out for more Elder Scrolls, but I’m not huge on MMOs.

Get a life

Dragon Quest IV and VII are just a nightmare if you don’t remember what you were doing. VII sorta added hints by talking to your party members, but between the time travel and the shard pieces I screwed up a 70 hour save and had to start over.  Also I put down Wild Arms for several months and got super lost.  Maybe I
