I really like the design. The flying buttresses specially. A bit conflicted on the front, air ram wise. Not a fan of the gull-wing doors. I would have preferred if they would have kept the original style cut out doors, because racing heritage.

Dang! those are some nice flying buttresses.
I would have preffered if they stuck with the cut out doors from previous iterations. You know, because history and racing blend.
I'm just going to assume that is how much the system can handle. But I'm sure it will be bumped down for reliability purposes.
The original cross over:
So much win!!! I assume that if the mechanism did a -270 degree turn (instead of the 90) it could be made pedestrian safe, since it could sink in to the hood. This could also prevent the pedestrian from costing you more in repairs as the light would not be turn off. Maybe even the surroundings could be molded in some…
Europe is no longer being rebuilt and it's not like these nations lack equipment. Given that most of these nations cooperate and are economically interdependent, any "Soviet" advance would most likely be met by a coalition rather than a single country. So I don't see a decreasing US presence as a threat to the…
You kind of read my mind. I think a barrel in the U$ 70 range should ease tensions specially in some unstable regions.
Once again I'm kind of screwed for having WindowsPhone. Though I'm not looking for a radio yet, it still kind of sucks I don't get the option. Thanks Microsoft
But will it have the option for leather covered external vents?
The VW merger makes more sense than any other, given that Ford is not interested at all. VW is struggling in the US, so as Bloomberg suggested, using current platforms and names to sell cars under an american badge could be a good investment. This would also open the doors to China for FCA.
Yes, but their attraction for FORD is that it is poised to grow in China while being heavily divested from Europe. Meaning Sergio and FCA don't see much growth coming in the old continent.
controls in a screen are actually distracting. Without the feel you cant just aim your hand to the center console and touch your way around the buttons while keeping your eyes on the road. Thats why nobs I think are just a better option. They should just make them prettier or nicer to touch.
1. Yes there is a loophole. But teams can not run 2 engines at the same time. They can start the season on the '14 engine, while they keep developing the '15. So if the engine is not homologated, it can not be raced.
Well, at least in Europe, new legislation would ban alcohol from sponsoring sports. So this will put F1 in quite a pinch when it comes to some one footing the bills.
I disagree, and believe sponsors should require more public showings like this to give the average fan or casual person to meet drivers. Reminds me of the Shell/Schumacher adverts where they placed him in a random gas station.
Insert Volvo* safety slogan.
Red, white, and blue (star dotted pattern); I see what you did there...
I wish companies would simply offer the same options everywhere which might mean we get to save some cash when adding options. I bought a Chevy Cruze (actually my mom did) and she went for the full optioned out one at our local dealer (in Bolivia). That meant, no sat NAV or infotainment, just a cheap as radio that…
I can only hope this year his engine shuts off in some river and as he is trying to restart it have a Kamaz bomb through that river, drowning any Dakar hopes for him.
