Can’t speak for the STi, but I bought my ‘11 WRX hatch in 2016, 60k miles at the time, has been moderately troublesome even though it was well taken care of. (100k miles now; so going to look into head gasket/valve adjustment).  It’s just fun to drive and practical, but finicky...

Yes to that! The only options are to go with a Volvo V60/90 or BMW 3 series wagon (which we won’t get the new one...) which are WAY too expensive anyways...
Just give us a good hatch/wagon to transport the dogs with a turbo for less than $35k already.

I know what you mean about holding out though; I plan on keeping this one until Subaru comes out with another WRX hatch/wagon or something else better (haha) comes along.

I had an ‘01 Silverado until a couple years ago, I know exactly what you mean with the new Colorados.  Pulled up next to one at a light and it was sitting even or maybe even a little taller than a full size truck!

Couldn’t get over this for a week, someone may have commented already, but; velar, as in the soft palate.  Velar consonants in English being /k/ and /g/, WHY is this called the Velar S!?  /s/ is alveolar!!

So a Honda Insight MSRPs for $23, 725, which at the least looks better, which is probably worth the $515. Not to mention that the Honda likely handles a little better. Warranty-wise the Hyundai probably gets the nod though...

Completely agree with you Andrew, a light, off-road machine with a plate will get you anywhere and is the multi-tool of motorcycling. It’s great that a manufacturer is finally giving us one with some displacement too, but wow that isn’t cheap.
