We've Got A Bigger Problem Now

+1 for the very correct Kroenke comment and +1000 for the excellent DK ref in yer user name

I watched every Pats game, and I can’t count the number of times they all ran straight back and allowed a 15-20 yard HB swing pass.

It’s still sinking to me that the same thing that made that game feel so uneventful was the same thing that probably a masterclass in defensive coaching and gameplanning that future defensive coordinators will study. Especially since even though it is easy to say that nothing felt like they were going the Rams way,

Serious question: Do the Rams have any tight ends on their roster?

I’m a dirty, dirty Pats fan and I figured Goff would turtle but was scared Gurley would shred the Pats and Donald might kill our sweet, sweet Tommy, the Pats may have game planned it but only giving Gurley the ball 10 times was a best case for Pats fans.

Chuck E Cheese? No sir. That is the look of a divorced dad who just realized he has to pick is kid up at the same high school as his date.

That’s the look of a divorced dad who just remembered he promised his kid they’d go to Chuck E Cheese on his next weekend.

That commercial was by Verizon who fucking throttled the data of firefighters during the wildfires to force them to buy a more expensive plan

And don’t forget the Arsenal fans, many of whom were rooting for the Patriots last night because they hate Stan Kroenke as much as St. Louis fans do.

Stan Kroenke gave 1 million dollars to the Trump inauguration.  Bob Kraft lent his plane to the Parkland kids.

Reminds me of the commercial with the NFL players talking to first responders who helped them, as if we don’t remember what happened during the California wildfires.

(Personally, I think he’s terrific. I just couldn’t pass up the chance to make this dumb joke.)

Is Deadspin anti-Romo? We can’t even have one semi-entertaining, knowledgeable broadcaster?

C’mon now, the stomach pumping urban legend has always been tied to Rod Stewart hasn’t it? Amazing how that story made it around the country before the internet.

What a load of horseshit that was. “Hey everybody, here’s some performative pap for social justice!”

I texted a buddy of mine the deer in a headlight look and play of Goff last night.  He really looked scared.  He was backfooting and literally bailing on just about every throw.  When he stood up and fired (taking the hit) he usually completed those passes.  He’s young so he’ll learn from this, but I still think that

At least Kroenke lost, and I’d like to think that if the Rams had still been in St. Louis (or hey, still had Big Dick Nick on their roster) they would have had more Rams fans Atlanta (instead of the zero that were there) and a quarterback who only looks like a deer in the headlights, but doesn’t play like one.

I gave an honest to God effort to watch this shitshow. I lasted until they showed the montage of Goodell taking a guided civil rights walking tour.

It’s great to see Drew’s byline again, and I agree with every word.

Everyone seems to be missing an even greater issue with the Patriots winning last night; the Rams losing brought the people of St. Louis immense joy. Unforgivable
