I honestly don't see how that is 'bullying. He was caught taking pictures of an underage girl undressing - he DESERVED to have his camera smashed and the pictures torn up. Now, if they had beat him up and/or humiliated him in front of the whole school, I would agree with a charge of bullying. At worst, they did

I definitely visualize everything if I'm in love with the story - it's a way to more fully inhabit it's world, you know? I have a very visual thought process in general though.

Oh no, I had that friend in the 80's, big time. Aside from the clothes she also powdered her self up with Shower to Shower every day and used flouncy perfumes from Avon, etc. She eventually was able to ditch the bug eyes glasses……for hard contacts. Hard contacts. (Do they still make these??) God, I loved her. She

I live in the eastern part and we don't even have a police department in my rural town. No street lights either in my corner. It's so dark out there at night sometimes you can't see your hand in front of your face. No one thinks of CT being that way, but there you go. :)

I liked it well enough for a 3 night binge show but I'm not sure I would have stuck with it on a weekly basis. The random blackouts are a bridge too far into 'wacky dramatics' for me. I just can NOT with that.

His output at Vox has made me honestly forget why he was one of my favorite writers here. It's so soulless.

I will NEVER get tired of upvoting this. It amuses me every_single_time without fail. :)

Fantastic article. Thank you so much for this.

Yes! Dave! Obviously not the most patriotic but it makes patriotism fun. Neat trick, that. Why isn't this movie on cable anymore??? :(

I honestly had that reaction to it. I watched a minute or so and they seemed drugged and/or dead. It made me deeply uncomfortable to the point that I can't even recall a single thing about the music that accompanied it. That being said, I never have to watch it again so……I won't. Problem solved. /shrug

I quit it the second I found out how late it is premiering this year. NOPE at this summer show thinking it is even half as interesting in the fall. BYE BYE.

I do not love trains but I probably could have recited every single thing there was to know about horses to you by age 10, even though I had never even been on a horse. Still haven't, actually. /itsagirlthing

It is frustrating AND makes no sense because these reviews have been filled with comments this season so it is not like it's ignored/not appreciated.

Yes. Always. I like that the sweetest cuts the saltiness of the meat.

A shame because the book it's based on was. It leaned hard on the idea of a group of aliens on the down low farming people for resources. It was CREEP-EEEEEEEEEEE!

I love this movie! Always have. They are just so deliciously hateful to one another. Lol

TV-wise, definitely Roseanne. *insert obligatory 'but not the final season' comment here* I will never quit watching it when I come across it on late nite tv. There was nothing else on tv at the time (and not much since) that spoke to people who grew up with the gas being shut off, dealing with parents who were out

I am a *little* curious what they will do with this book on the show, with the huge time jump and being SO different from the first two books.

Oh god: Hachi, the dog movie. Ugly faced, snot running, crying. I've actually only seen it the once because it ruined me. You go into it thinking it will be heartwarming but it's really gut twistingly sad. Jesus, so sad. :(

I quit the series after book three. The whole Jamaican business (JAMAICA, REALLY?) was too much of a WTF for me. It was truly bizarre and off-putting.
