He was great in the Life Aquatic.
But if you just think hard enough you can rationalize it.
The only thing I remember was Green Day’s performance of Paper Lanterns. I think they showed that on MTV a lot.
You’re surprised James Brown was a better performer than Limp Bizkit and Korn?
The truth is politics junkies just want to see people they hate get dunked on.
MCU is also forgettable
Does anyone know where I can find some sailors?
If he said he should be nominated for an Oscar your quip might make sense.
The best season was whatever one had the terms of enrampagement episode. That was the show’s peak. After that it became about callbacks + dreamscapes and it ran out of steam.
I really enjoyed this, though I’d give it closer to a B+ than A range. Disagree with some of Zach’s takes also. It was definitely played for laughs (that thing about fucking the polar bear for example) and you were meant to basically revel in the absurdity of being in Danny’s situation. I wonder if your opinion of National Anthem is heavily motivated by how much you knew of the show before you watched it. I think I enjoyed it so much because I had no idea Black Mirror was an anthology show, let alone one about the dark side of technologies.
Yeah i agree, in Black Mirror world that was a horrifying reveal given AIs are sentient beings capable of feeling pain / emotions.
I prefer solid execution to when the show swings for something cerebral and misses, though obviously the cerebral aspects of the show are primarily why it’s so celebrated.
I really liked Hated in the Nation, and I didn’t find it silly.
