Funny is funny, but if this is just Baron Cohen mocking people who were relevant 5-10 years ago and are desperate for any kind of attention (i.e. people that would agree to a hypothetical interview with a nobody) then yeah it’s not going to be that great.

No. I think for live action films it’s harder to be fine with dubbed soundtracks since there’s an actual performance on the screen and not just voice acting (though for some Jackie Chan / martial arts films dubbed soundtracks do work better I think for the same reason that you can focus on the visuals).

I admit to choosing the dubbed version over subbed version of Akira.  Anime is highly visual, if you spend time reading you lose sight of the visuals.

Wouldn’t just learning Spanish be more useful though and have similar benefits?
