You could have basically said everything you just said about Seth McFarlane (pop culture references at least) and the Orville is the better Star Trek show than Discovery.

I’m not even a Wrath of Khan fan but i think it was majorly disappointing because it then obvious then that Nutrek was going to be generic action flick nonsense which isn’t really why I enjoy Star Trek.

Netflix is a global company too.  They are probably unstoppable at this point the legacy media companies took too long to get into the streaming game.

This was a baffling show to greenlight, on TNT of all places. My guess is the thinking went like this: “Post-apocalyptic shows are popular, and this takes place on a single train so we don’t have to spend on location shooting!”

Attack of the Clones is remarkably terrible. An order of magnitude worse than Episode I. Episode III is just wholly forgettable and disapointing. I recall a few apologists for it at the time but once it was over it was so obvious this was such an incredible missed opportunity.

My thinking is like gamer gate people like to talk about it because it enables them to talk about what they really want to talk about: idiot man-children.

Unless you were 5-10 years old when Episode I came out I cannot accept any opinion in support of the prequels.

I checked out on Westworld once it got Lost vibes at some point in season 1 with the maze crap. Never again.
