I get SO annoyed when various people run through the list of ‘ways to prevent’ with me EVERY time I get one. As if I’m going to go “Wait, wait....COTTON UNDERWEAR? Even though I know how to Google and have been on EVERY blog and forum trying to figure out how to stop getting these, no one has ever mentioned COTTON…

I’ve had that work one time. Although it wasn’t full blown. I have my doubts it would work for me on a full blown infection. Thank god for modern medicine.

It works for any age because it’s not a medication. Even young children. Lots of luck to them and here’s hoping it works as well for them as it does for me!

LOL. That was actually my point. its already available on its own. It’s what many, many women (including me and a few women I know) use for prevention. I don’t need a study to tell me it works. I have my own experience. I went from having numerous UTIs a year to having one or less when I take it daily as prevention.…

I do ALL of that. I learned from a urologist that some women are biologically more prone. Those things do help, but they aren't the whole answer for us that are prone...

They are super ugly. I bought one and ended up taking it off. If we're supposed to wipe front to back, why would I use a bidet that sprays back to front?! All the attachment ones do that because they attach at the back. Someday I will get a real one because they do have potential for UTI prevention.

I figure it's worth a try. Antibiotics are important, but I understand you not wanting to use them all the time. I have the same worries. I sure hope it works for you!!
