but sometimes their families can intervene and if they have shown signs of violence already in the home, or signs of possibly harming themselves, get them put somewhere where they can get treatment whether they like it or not, until they’re not a threat to anyone anymore.  there is some responsibility for the people

you have to factor in though that many people in denial after a family member commits a shooting are of course going to protect themselves by saying they never saw it coming, when the reality is there were often signs there that were ignored for one reason or another until it was too late (look at elliot rodger, for

not cater to them, find a way to have a mental health intervention (because a lot of them have intractable personality disorders like narcissism and need help forced on them because they won’t ask for it) that gets to them and defuses them somehow BEFORE they become violent. we need to find a way to identify these

also one of my special interests is music and has been my whole life, and the way he talks about music i could really relate to.  another thing that made me wonder if he might be autistic.

actually, i was wondering (as an autistic person myself) if he might be on the spectrum. i used to sway like that while standing still when i was little, until my parents forced me to stop (i heard “stop fidgeting!” more times than i could count growing up.)

this after telling me I should stop.  that’s pricelessly ironic.  yeah yeah, i’m sexist because i won’t laugh along with the men about domestic abuse.  sure, bro.  sure.

you’re right, i should have just said “man”—because you’re (men of all stripes) good at ruining comedy for the rest of us.

a self-aware internet troll?

i was replying to someone called FryCookOnVenus, not to you.  is this your alt account that you use to star your other account’s comments?  wow, that’s sad.

thanks for starring my comment, but it wasn’t a compliment, just so you know.  it was ironic statement about how boring you kekistan trolls are.

why did you mention the attractiveness of the offenders?  are you some kind of incel that thinks that any man labeled as creepy must be unattractive because women never think attractive men are creepy?  because that’s some incel nuttiness.

i wonder if you will delete this one too?

interesting that you deleted my comment where i say i like dark humour too, i just don’t like humour that punches down (like say, at domestic violence victims belitting what they go through, which is not taken seriously enough already by the courts or police.)  it’s telling that’s the comment of mine you couldn’t let

not sure how that’s relevant, as i wasn’t having a conversation with you.  but ok.  thanks for sharing.

i understand that you really need to justify this behaviour to yourself, as exemplified by your posts responding to me, but all i asked you to do was think about it and this is how you reacted to me, by calling me names and telling me to fuck off.  for such a good person, you sure are emotionally reactive to strangers

there is a difference between dark humour (which i enjoy) and lazy dehumanising humour.  it all depends on which direction you are punching with your dark humour--up, or down.  making jokes in threads like this about domestic violence, which is already not taken seriously enough and ends up being a factor in many mass

“insensitive humor is my coping mechanism.”

you stated in your own words that you dehumanise people for the sake of making a joke.  if you don’t think that’s behaviour you should reexamine, that in itself is telling along with your reaction to being called out on the shittiness of that kind of humour.
