aww, that guilt is totally understandable. It's not your fault, but I understand why you feel bad. I hope you feel better.

Many rawhide treats are made with formaldehyde which is dangerous for fido. If you want to give your dog a gnaw worthy treat, I recommend US-made bully sticks, Himalayan yak cheese, or a deer antler (especially if you can find them, they're crazy expensive to buy but do last a long time).

I work for Petsmart and last year when chicken jerky was recalled for every brand available, we were sent a letter from one of the companies sayng that they did testing on the treats and nothing harmful was found in them. It was concluded that people were using the treats as a main source of food instead of a treat

Not at all. My greyhound eats baby carrots and apple slices. You can slice sweet potato very thin and bake in the oven at a low setting. And you can make homemade dog biscuits. There's tons of recipes online.

Us too. Not worth the risk. We started buying USA (or Canada)-sourced only back when the last pet food disaster came through several years ago. Then it was related to melamine they were adding to the food to make it look like it was higher in protein, but the stuff was contaminated and killing animals.

One of my biggest fears. I remember when I first heard about this, Milo's Kitchen dog treats were one of the brands that had problems and I immediately tossed every bag I had in the garbage (and I had a ton of bags because they were like $0.50 a bag with doubled coupons).

I distribute Milkbone cookies and just read the side of the box. It says, "Distributed by Del Monte, San Francisco, but does not say where they are made. Also, I distribute baby carrots as cookies and the dogs love them.

Right there with you. We never buy any food product made in China. If that makes us fanatics or whatever, we're cool with it.

Sometimes people act like I'm a fanatic for never, ever giving any of my pets anything made in China, but this shit happens way too often. I do not myself ingest or use products from that region (wherever possible) so I wouldn't give it to them either.

The difference is hers is derogatory and she has said she did not like it. The other names are accepted by the respective characters. Even Pensatucky has explicitly owned her nickname; Suzanne has done the opposite.

Look, guys, her name isn't Crazy Eyes. It's Suzanne. I know she isn't real but it's sad that people still call her that after she's clearly stated that she doesn't like or understand it. This happens to people IRL and it's pretty bad, can we stop now? Thanks.

nice troll. I'm sure you'll get some bites.

Sometimes I wonder if people can star their own comments multiple times, because I'll see more than 0 stars on non-sequitur crap like this one and it confuses me.

My drunken one night stands are routinely more physically attractive and much less pleasant to be around the next morning than men I date or hook up with when sober. Whatever my beer goggles are set to detect, it's sure as hell not inner beauty.

Help, help, they're being repressed. Now everyone sees the (GHEEEEEY) violence inherent in the (non-existent) system(ic oppression of straight people for being straight).
