I mean, Ducktales was solid (show and game) back in the day.

Can we please stop naming sequels, reboots and reimaginings with the same tittle as the first movie? Pretty please?

“You wanna gets nuts? *smash* LET’S GET NUTS!”

Very well. I will not force you to be counted.

Why does Joseph Gordon-Levitt need a comeback? Did he harass someone? He was in a Best Picture nominee last year.

He was great on a tv show from around the same time called “Action” where he played a skeezy Hollywood producer who was regularly tempted to clean up his act but always managed to be an asshole.

I don’t know if I can describe what I mean by this, but this episode felt like a South Park episode.

Yeah but even when it’s dumb (which is a lot of the time), it was in Seasons 1-3 often very clever and funny. That’s not really the case anymore. Seems like all they have now are C-tier film parodies.

i take it you haven’t spent as many hours kissing mirrors in drag as i have.

I think there just needs to be balance. Lola can have a flat chest, but Bugs should have a truly gargantuan penis. Here, let me show you some ideas I’ve sketched out...

Nah I'm fine.

I wonder where he came up with that idea!

Because people are idiots and it’s a lot easier to blame a fictional scapegoat than to deal with mind shattering reality that we control nothing and will face terrible pandemics in the future.

I feel like Ingrid Goes West did a good job because it never lost sight of its characters as characters and was more about how we all wear masks/perform identities, Instagram or no.

Now playing

complaining about a retroactive backlash towards the show

I have a real soft spot for mid-to-late 90s creature features: your Relics, Mimics, Deep Risings, Deep Blue Seas, Lakes Placids, Specieses, Wishmasters, etc. They tend to have a nice mix of great practical work, terrible CGI, some good gore, and are just overall campy fun.

Pillow guy sort of looks like Uncle Jack

There’s a lot to like about it. The self sacrifice aspect is kind of unique. How many movies can you name where the protagonists admit they’re doomed before the midpoint?

The premise being that humans might cooperate in front of common danger. Covid and global warming taught us how ludicrous it is. I love “Space 1999" stuff, but we can only stretch disbelief so far.

She just wishes she was with the real RedLetterMedia celebrity Rich Evans.
