Totality of circumstances? So your just assuming that them not getting an over weight actress, means they didn't care about continuity? Do you really need EVERYTHING spoon fed to you like a child? Are you seriously not capable of thinking things through for yourself?

Yes because people NEVER lose weight.

And that's why I don't take most detractors at this site seriously (or other naysayers of these types) . They have no fucking sense of perspective.

Indeed, lots of nerds don't know how to take a joke.

That's real laughter. If there was a drinking game for every time someone gets this wrong lots of people would die of alcohol poisoning.

This is the last episode Brad bird was a storyboard consultant on, and it shows because from this point on majority of the episodes lack a certain visual flare that the glory days had.

Louie also deserves a mention for, "You might've hurt someone.", as if the Mafia cares about the well being of others.

How was the plotting terrible?

You have a life long hatred just for what someone says on an audio commentary? Just how shallow can you get?

How can team flash PROVE that Wells wasn't coerced into giving this confession?

To be fair, no more Phil Hartman was beyond their control.

"HE'S SPINNING THE BALL ON HIS FINGER! JUST TAKE IT, TAKE THE BALL!"

I love how it doesn't dawn on Homer, what is wrong with underage Bart saying/doing that.

I hated it because Marge, Lisa, and Homer were just as much in the dark as the rest of the town. So having them share in Barts misery was off putting. The ending wasn't uplifting. Because they did nothing to deserve what happened to them.

Also weird that in mystery incorporated he's the most interesting character on that show thanks to a more ambitious back story.

"Clap for Alaska!"

Sure, but not to the dumbass extremes Homer did in this episode.

"Quiet you!"

Yes he has some simpson in him, but he rebounded and came up with an invention that put him back on the map, so he's not a total failure at all.

He's a product of simpson DNA, Oakley & Weinstein couldn't be bothered to have homer remember that, because then it would invalidate their whole story.
