The thing is even with that. Mirkin still comes off as far more interesting than Jean, reiss, Weinstein (in season 8 anyways), and scully on commentaries.

Oh I agree this episode was one of the season s better episodes, and I liked it overall. I'm just saying I empathize with those who feel it didn't pack much of a punch as far as season finale go.
