It’s the “...some semblance of a soul left...” part that really highlights the emo, high school vibe he’s putting off.

You turn off your recorder or claim its “broken” and don’t immediately return to base, that’s a suspension. How this isn’t basic policy is just stupid thin blue line crap.
Since the saying goes- A few bad apples ruin the bunch, cops and politicians who use that example in hopes of defending the supposedly “good ones” are really shooting themselves in the foot.
Not rare at all. Common enough that my Dad has always told me to tie up my hair when I drive to avoid calling it to the attention of the cops that I’m a woman. Note that he specifically said cops, not bikers, not truckers, he worries about cops. What a world we live in.
A second woman has also recounted disturbing interactions with Richardson. She gave him her phone number in November, after he pulled her over. He stopped her again in January to demand why she had changed it.
Why do I get the feeling these guys became cops specifically for the purpose of meeting women and using their authority to force/coerce them into dates or worse?
If you have a few stories a day about a few cops being “bad apples,” then after a while, it ceases to be a “bad apples” situation and becomes systemic.
Or, put in terms for the GOP. The misconduct rate is probably close the the welfare fraud rate, which means it’s a massive issue, right?
Watson is definitely good, but not nearly as good as the actors in Olive Garden commercials. You genuinely feel like they are enjoying Olive Garden, which they aren’t.
Publicist #5: (Perravieja, who is not a publicist, but who read Dirt Bag this morning)
His tongue is sticking out of the corner of his mouth, so kind of mumbly.
Pain seems to demand more, it requires a particular eloquence born of empathy and reflection of which Trump is incapable.
I saw this comment on a similar article elsewhere and I love it so much that I want to share:
We get it Helen you’re the smartest person in the room.
My wife has two degrees from UC Berkley, including a Women’s Studies minor and thought this article was a huge reach and actually chuckled a few times as I read it aloud to her (confession: I may have dramatized my reading a bit). I guess I should tell her that she has no critical thinking skills now?
President Trump: God damn Jews. Every. Single. Time.
Same.
I love The Rock and I don’t feel bad about it.
Usually it’s pretty tough to bring (and win) federal suits against municipalities in these types of circumstances, but it seems like, given the “officer’s” history, Edwards may have a strong case for municipal liability here, probably based on a failure to train/supervise theory. An award of money damages in a civil…
The best PR person is the one you convince the public does not exist.
