Well... Both were deluded teenagers essentially fighting to uphold deeply problematic power structures. In Joan’s case, Orleanist political power of the 15th century French court. For Owen, it was the senior salute. So... Kinda?

YAS!!!!!!
Like Whitman, Jeremy Bieber is large and contains multitudes...
Ummm... Hook is AWESOME and awesome on an additional level once you are a parent. I just rewatched it last year, so I’m not talking out my ass here. It is fun, pretty, and heartfelt. It is a goddamn treasure.
“a tiger at his father Jeremy’s engagement party”
This is a quick fix. Just say up front...
Yeah, I agree. And kidney stones can take a while to pass. ALL THINGS CONSIDERED, babies and vaginas and all those bits and bobs have an amazing amount going for them to help the process along
Not suddenly. I’ve been against the draft since I found out about it as a kid (a simple Google search will show you that I’m certainly not alone in this, not among feminists in particular or the public at large). But until it is abolished (if it is abolished) I think it should be gender-blind.
It’s just so... petty and besides the point! But yeah, these dudes run from ridiculous to terrifying.
Socially aggressive people can run the gamut between arrogant, yet wildly unpopular, insufferable, and unlikeable to “Aw bless your heart, you just need to tone it down A LOT” i.e. my friend “socially aggressive Joel.” Cruz is the former.
Hear, hear!
I’ve heard that about kidney stones and believe it. And while I don’t know what it feels like to be kicked in the balls, until said ball kicking lasts 18 hours (in my case) with a 9 month build-up, I refuse to believe it hurts more.
And I repeated your comment in the grays. Womp womp!
I can’t tell you how many contrarians and MRAs bring up the draft as sexist to try to get a “gotcha!” moment with me who wind up disappointed when I say “Yeah, it is sexist. We either need to abolish the draft or change the law so that women are required to sign up, too.”
Ted Cruz strikes me as the kind of guy who was never invited to a party and then refuses to leave. I don’t even mean this as a metaphor for his political career or campaign. On a personal level. As a human. He seems to be what I call “socially aggressive.”
Not even using my thumb can get it down. It just hurts!
