Yeah, mine were on the early end of average. The boy was about 4 or 5 months; the girl was around 5 or 6. And they sprout FAST. At 15 months my daughter only needs 4 (her incisors) and two of them are half way there.
True story. My daughter can ALMOST always be swayed by a graham cracker.
My nephew got teeth at 3 months. It’s really not nature’s way of indicating anything.

Completely depends on the person. I weaned my son at 17 months. My daughter is going strong, but I’d like to wean her by Halloween or so (we shall see how that goes). That’s me. I’ve known some people to go to three, they were very much outliers. That's as old as I've personally known.

It doesn't hurt. They don't bite (unless they're being an asshole, I guess). My kids had full sets of teeth well before a year. The only time I was ever nipped regularly was when my daughter was teething, and even then not a ton.
I am writing this as my 15 month old with a full set of teeth nurses: it doesn't hurt. The tongue covers the bottom teeth and the top only just kind of touch down gently.
