Cosign, and fist bumps to you, friend on clomid. I never went that way (my docs didn’t think that would help), but I know it’s murder. Hang in there, and the best of luck.

As a former infertile person, there’s something really powerful in the longing to be pregnant that you’re overlooking. Some of that comes from culture, and some of it from hormones, but it’s a really strong desire regardless. For some people, it’s just not possible, but that doesn’t make the wanting go away.

I think a lot of people don’t vote. That, and it’s pretty common for Republicans to run unopposed here, or opposed by locals with little to no party support or financial backing. Also, we have a huge problem with brain drain—kids who grow up here and get education don’t usually come back, which means we’re less

I live there (well, I live in the next-door district, but I work there.) There’s a huge latinx population, and we’re working on the brain drain problem. Is it likely by 2018? No. But I’m not comfortable with never.

It’s worth pointing out that the person who got 32% against Nunes this year was running for office for the first time and is a student at the college where I work. The district is conservative-leaning, but there’s a big latinx population here, and the fact that he got anywhere near a third of the votes is a big deal

Episcopal fist bump!

It’s not exactly accurate that they only got an hour’s warning—locals have been talking about this possibility for at least a week. This shouldn’t have come as a surprise. Additionally, things are stable today—I wouldn’t be surprised to hear that people are being allowed to go back in for things or pets they couldn’t

I’m from the area, and my facebook feed was full of local animal hospitals and kennels offering to take evacuee animals for free. This is what makes America great.

That’s true, I suppose. But even that idea—fashion borrowing from the “street”—wasn’t exactly new in the 1960s. The French naturalism movement in the 18th century was all about the idealization of rural and working-class life, and there was certainly a fashion component. Jazz-era fashion worked similarly.

This still holds true, although maybe not with clothes as much. The body types and hairstyles most in demand are the ones most people can’t attain.

I completely hear what you’re saying, except for that last bit. *Lots of people* get handed *lots of things* on platters. I work at a community college in central California. I grew up in a lower-middle class family, and I’m white. Both of my parents went to college, although my dad dropped out fairly early when he

I know at least a couple of white women like this as well, including one who spent all of the last year screaming on Facebook about voting machine tampering. It’s so interesting that Hillary Clinton was able to fraudulently win the primary but couldn’t fraudulently pull it out in the general. She’s upset about Trump

I’m so confused. I thought people like Trump because he’s honest and tells it like it is. But now it turns out he isn’t? Who would have guessed that the con man was also a terrible liar?

I was about ten days late. I think it was election and post-election stress. I have a one-year-old and am no way ready for another, so I was right there with you.

It might be a trick of the light or something, but it also looks like it doesn’t fit. JFC, it’s Vogue and you’re loaded. You should look like a literal million bucks.

And even if it *is* about the economy (and I believe it is, for some people), there’s just no way for me to understand how the economy is more important than the dignity and humanity of other people.

“If Killary had been elected, it would have been worse!”

Haha, we don’t grow a lot of onions here. Dairies and cotton are also really common. And pomegranates! And peaches. For a terribly conservative place, it’s quite delicious and comfy!

Greetings! Nice to know there are other Jezzies about.

I live in Hanford. It has two Starbucks, if you don’t count the one in Target. Hanford is a small town, although it’s also a hub for a lot of nearby tiny towns. There’s really not a lot there, and it does feel rural if not completely remote. Most of the economy is agriculture. For an openly gay young person, it
