Nobody had extension cables in the NES era because a 24" screen was considered big enough back then. If you actually wanted to feel retro you’d play on a CRT which defeats the purpose of having an HDMI output.

They cut the dance scene after the script was leaked and everyone pointed at it like, “see! This is going to be the worst movie ever!” I personally think including it makes the movie feel sillier than what I’d enjoy. It was a good cut IMO.
